Learning a new skill is never a waste of time. So when I ended up with a ‘59 Chevy that didn’t run, I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn more about repair. 🔧
So far I’ve added gas, changed the oil, replaced the tires, swapped the spark plugs, replaced the battery, bled the brakes, changed the fan belt, timed the engine, and replaced the heater core.
My interest in car repair comes from a desire to understand how things work.
👈 Here, I just started up the engine for the first time. Next up is repair work on the body and interior. Would love to even rebuild the engine one day!
Also, I’m cuckoo bananas about swimming! 🏊🌊🌊
I started learning the major strokes about five years ago, and no one’s been able to get me out of the water ever since.
I currently swim with a masters team and teach kids and adults in my spare time.
I am absolutely fascinated with swimming technique. Small changes to hand entry or body position can lead to improvements in speed. This makes swimming my zen place because there is always something to think about.
